A fine and bright still life composition by the artist Henry E. Foster, depicting a blue jug and fruit in a glass bowl, on a table. The artist has a slightly impressionistic approach, with an abstract background. Well-framed in a gilt effect wooden frame. Signed, inscribed and dated on the reverse.

Condition

In very good condition overall. There is some minor surface discolouration, and a small closed tear to the lower left.
