Artist Biography
Henry Boddington was a watercolour painter of topographical and landscape scenes, born in Eccles. He had moved to Etaples in the Pas-de-Calais in the closing years of the 19th century, turning to art late in life after a business career. He painted most of his subjects in France and exhibited at the Allied Artists' Association. An exhibition of eighty of his works was held at Lott & Gerrish in London, 1982.
