Description

A finely drawn 19th century graphite study after the work of renowned French illustrator and lithographer Auguste Dennis Raffet. The horses visible to the foreground are particularly fine examples of the artist's success as a draughtsman. Well presented in a mount and simple wood frame. Inscribed on the reverse. Signed and dated. On wove.

Condition

There is a foxing spot visible to the upper right margin and some discolouration to the mount. With surface scuffing to the frame.
