Description

A carefully drawn scene in pen and ink by Henrietta Larkill, depicting a family outing on a croquet lawn, with ladies in fine dresses, children and toys. There is also a graphite drawing of a waterfall on the reverse. Both are laid to a single piece of wove. Signed to the lower left and dated 1866. Signed and dated.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and staining.
