Description

An impressionistic landscape depicting Tadpole Bridge near Faringdon in the Cotswolds crossing the River Thames. Presented in a white painted wooden frame with a gilt-effect outer edge. Initialled to the lower-right edge. Artist's label inscribed with the location on the verso. Date inscribed on the verso. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

There is some stable craquelure and some slight marks to the surface and to the frame. Overall in very good condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
