A delightful watercolour scene taking in the beautiful village of Wroxton, Oxfordshire. To the right stands All Saints church, where a nanny and child can be seen passing on the raised walk. Further up the street another women is paused, glancing back down the street. The painting has been signed by the artist to the lower left, and bears a small inscription to the reverse. On watercolour paper laid to card.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The watercolour is also warping slightly with its backing card.
