An intimate interior scene by the Danish artist Hans Koefoed Jesperson (1884-1975), depicting a well-furnished room with soft light pouring in from a window. In the foreground sits a young girl engaged in sewing. Well presented in a gilt-effect frame. Signed to the reverse label. On canvas on stretchers.Condition
Light dirtying to the surface of the oil and scuffs to the edges of the canvas. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. Signs of wear to the gilt effect frame to include small chips and scratch marks on all rails.
