An eye-catching portrait in graphite with chalk of a Victorian stagecoach driver. In one hand he holds his whip and in the other his tricorn hat. Presented glazed in a cream and blue double mount with a gilt-effect inner edge and a distressed gilt-effect wooden frame. Signed and dated to the lower-left corner. Inscribed with the title to the reverse. On brown wove.Condition
There are some small dents to the frame and a chip to the lower-right corner. Overall in fine condition.
