Description

A very interesting sketchbook filled with 18 superb graphite drawings of actors and actresses from Hollywood's golden age. Studies include Veronica Lake, Humphrey Bogart, Marlene Dietrich and Noel Coward. Each drawing is signed 'H.S. Swinscoe' and dated from the 16th November 1947 to January 1948. The sketchbook has been covered with red fabric. On wove.

Condition

The sketchbook is generally in good condition. With some discolouration to the pages and light foxing. Tissue paper dividers creased and slightly torn. Spine of the book is fragile, however holds together well.
