Gwyneth Browne - Original Mid 20th Century Watercolour. On watercolour paper. Inscribed. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Tear to upper right edge as shown.

Gwyneth Browne studied drawing and painting at the West of England College of Art. Later she also worked in ceramics, screen printed textiles and batik. She was for four years Organising Secretary of Bath Society of Artists, and is also a member of Clifton Arts Club. Her work has been seen in the Royal West of England Academy and other exhibitions in the area. Many paintings have been done on travels, especially through France, Germany, Italy and Spain. She worked in Greece, especially on Crete and the volcanic island of Santorini, Cyprus, Malta and in Tunisia.
