Description
A crisp watercolour and gouache study of a wild quail, roaming through leafy undergrowth. Arnott has masterfully captured the plumage of the bird with every feather carefully heightened with delicate body color. These cute dumpy birds have been blessed with the perfect camouflage to hide from predators amongst areas of grassland. The painting has been signed by the artist to the lower right. On watercolour paper laid to card.Condition
The backing card is causing the painting to curl at the edges slightly. However, the overall condition of the artwork is very good.
