COLLCUTT Grace Marion 1875-1954
Landscape painter, daughter of the architect Thomas Edward Collcutt, (1840-1924) among whose buildings were London’s Savoy Hotel and the Imperial Institute. She studied at Richmond School of Art and the Slade School of Fine Art and exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts, Abbey Gallery, Baillie Gallery and Goupil Gallery, London Salon, Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, Society of Women Artists and elsewhere. Collcutt settled in Brighton, where the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery holds local views in watercolour by her and an interior in oils.
