Artist Biography
Born in 1904, Gösta Bjelkebo was a Swedish artist and illustrator. He studied at the Valand School of Painting in Gothenburg and travelled across France and Holland gaining inspiration for his vivid landscape scenes. He has participated in several joint exhibitions across Sweden and has worked as a freelance illustrator for comics and novels. Several of his large scale public murals can be found in Stockholm.
