A landscape featuring figures sat beneath trees on the lakeside. A mountain can be seen in the distance. Presented in an ornate gilt-effect wooden frame with leaf and berry detailing to the outer edge. Signed to the lower-left edge and signed and dated on the verso. There is a plate attached to the lower edge of the frame which also includes the date and name of the artist. On canvas on stretchers.
Condition
There is some stable craquelure and mild dirt and marks to the surface. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
