A charming scene depicting a young girl and boy at the river's edge. The boy casts a fishing pole into the river and the girl and her faithful terrier watch. Signed to the lower right. Biographical information on the artist attached to the reverse. On board.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. there is some light scuffing to the edges of the board.

Artist Biography

Glynn Williams was born in Tunbridge Wells. his Grandfather was one of the last people to the make Tunbridge Ware as a profession. He is a self taught paper, with his only formal teaching coming from A Level Art.

He became a full time artist in 1980 after the demand for his painting grew to the point where it could sustain a career. Williams work has a strong focus on country scenes due to his love for nature that started from a young age.
