A fine 20th Century watercolour showing a grave yard with an old fashioned lych gate to the right and a grand manor to the left. The artist has signed to the lower left and the painting has been presented in a distressed silver gilt frame with wash-line mount. There is a label at the reverse with the artist's name and title of the painting. On watercolour paper.Condition

Artist Biography
Born in 1940 Gerald “Gerry” Ball trained at Coventry and Manchester art colleges and taught art for 5 years before becoming a professional designer and illustrator in 1967.
A short time later in 1970 he set up his own company “Gerry Ball & Associates” in Leicester. In 1987 the company became Eikon Ltd based in Upper New Walk and he remained as MD until he part-retired in 2000.
He continues to illustrate and paint on a part time basis.
