A meticulously detailed George III embroidery depicting a lady and her dog resting beneath the shade of a tree. Well presented in a gilt frame with shell corner ornamentation. Unsigned. On silk.

Condition

Overall the condition is very good for an embroidery of this age. Some discolouration and light foxing to the silk. Marks and scuffs to the frame.
