Presented in an oval mount and inscribed to the reverse with the location. Signed in a different hand 'George Smith'. The date has been partially cut off and reads 'October 31st 179*'. On wove laid to backing card.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing. Small sections of tape residue to the outer edges of the mount.
