A village scene with cottages to the left of the composition and sheep grazing outside a church in the distance. Presented in a gilt-effect wooden frame with ornate pierced moulding to the outer edge and a silver gilt-effect slip. Signed to the lower-left edge. On canvas on stretchers.Condition
There is some stable craquelure and some surface abrasions at the upper corners. There are some minor marks to the frame and slip.
