There are two raised dents in the canvas to the upper left quadrant. Inspection under UV light reveals several areas of over painting. These can be seen to the body of the vase and the lower right quadrant. A small amount of paint loss can be seen in this same area, as well as a light 11cm scratch to the painting's surface. The gilt-effect frame shows signs of wear with stable cracking and a small loss to the lower right ornament.
