A fine 19th century study by the English listed artist George James Knox (1810-1897). The artist has depicted a rural idyll, with stone cottage, watering cattle and a farm boy resting on the banking. Expertly completed with fine brushwork and touches of gouache. Well presented in a double card washline mount and gilt frame. With Vectis Fine Arts label to the reverse. On watercolour paper.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some minor discolouration. Overall the condition is very good. With small marks to the frame.
