Original Georgian Tea Caddy. Constructed of well chosen mahogany veneers with boxwood stringing and escutcheon. Wonderful colour and patina. Original lock but no key. Hinges good. There is a crack in the veneer top left rear but this is due simply to age shrinking of the thick veneer. 2cm of boxwood stringing absent left lower rear corner. The pine carcass is perfect and not cracked. 11.5 cm high, 12.8 cm wide, 11.7 cm deep.
