A fine early 20th century watercolour depicting two women sat on a riverbank, fishing. In the background a small herd of cattle can be seen behind the women. While across the river two figures can just be pictured out on a small fishing boat. The artist has signed to the lower left-hand corner. The painting is well presented in a wash-line mount and simple gilt-effect frame. Glazed. On wove.
Condition
The picture is in very good condition with only a few light foxing spots along the top edge of the painting.
