Description

A turn-of-the-century country scene depicting a historic cottage beside a river. Presented in an ornate gilt-effect wooden frame with swept rails and corners and floral and foliate moulding and a gilt-effect slip. Signed to the lower-left edge, partially obscured by the frame. On board.

Condition

There are some slight marks to the surface and some minor scuffs, marks, and areas of retouching to the frame. Overall in very good condition.
