This charming scene depicts a maid and her child visiting the market. The shop keeper stands amongst her abundance of fresh produce with a hand on her hip and a gentle expression. Painted in the manner of G. G. Kilburne. Signed and dated to the lower left. Well presented in a gilt frame. On wove.
