A wonderful study of a tree-lined country path, bathed in the summer sunshine. The artist has captured the heat and brightness of the day, with areas of bright colour that contrast against the more muted tones of the shaded areas beneath the trees. Well presented in a vintage gilt frame. Unsigned. On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some very minor signs of discolouration. There are some minor marks to the frame and small losses that have been partially restored.
