Frederick Middlehurst ARCA - Set of Two Original Mid 20th Century Etching. Etchings are titled 'A Pedlar' and 'A Poacher' ; each measure the same. They are limited editions numbered 60/75. Signed and title inscribed in pencil. Signed. On laid. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration.Frederick Middlehurst, A.R.C.A. , A.R.E., was born in Great Harwood, Lancashire, a small town bordering the Yorkshire Dales, from which his inspiration and love of country life derived. He studied at Blackburn School of Art, and then at The Royal College of Art, of which he is an Associate Member. He is also an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Painters Etchers. A practiced illustrator, and a part time Art teacher, he lives near Saffron Walden in Essex.
