A fine landscape in the Scottish Highlands with a lone figure stood at the centre of the composition. Presented in a wash line mount and a distressed gilt-effect wooden frame with fluted detailing. Signed to the lower-right edge.On watercolour paper.
Condition
There is a slight mark to the mount at the left edge. Overall in very good condition.

Frederick Boisseree flourished in the 1870s, and was a British artist who specialised in watercolour landscapes, mostly of Welsh scenes. He is know to have lived in Betws-y-Coed in North Wales.
