Artist Biography
Frederick Barry (fl.1826-1867) was a painter of marine and coastal scenes in addition to genre, landscape, and game subjects. He lived in London and from 1848 lived in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. He exhibited three works at the Royal Academy from 1848-1849, eight works at the British Institution, and forty-three works at the Society of British Artists.
