Frank Richards RBA (1863-1935) Newlyn School - A good oil on canvas depicting two women in a field with a big sky. Unsigned. The canvas is not laid down or on stretchers - its just loose. From a cache of Frank Richards paintings and drawings literally rescued from a skip. Most have a price on the back: anywhere from 6d up to 2/6, so these must have been in some type of car boot sale at one point, pre-decimalization. I show a photo of the back of one of the items which was used as a sign. Not every picture is signed, but they are all unquestionably by Richards hand.Size: 24 x 30cm (9.4" x 11.8")
