Frank Richards RBA (1863-1935) Newlyn School - A large watercolour and bodycvolour sketch of a young 16th or 17th century king at his table. Signed lower right. On heavy card with abrasions.From a cache of Frank Richards paintings and drawings literally rescued from a skip. Most have a price on the back: anywhere from 6d up to 2/6, so these must have been in some type of car boot sale at one point, pre-decimalization. I show a photo of the back of one of the items which was used as a sign. Not every picture is signed, but they are all unquestionably by Richards hand.Size: 37 x 49cm (14.6" x 19.3")
