Artist Biography
Frank Dean was a painter born in Headingley, Leeds, Yorkshire. He studied at Slade School of Fine Art and in Paris. He travelled widely in North Africa, the Middle East and India and lived in various parts of England. He was a prolific exhibitor, showing at the Fine Art Society, RSA, ROI, Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, NEAC and elsewhere. For a time Dean was a member of RBA.
