The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration cause by a layer of surface dirt. There is a light scratch to the surface of the painting in the lower right-hand corner that has been concealed with some over painting. Two small patch repairs have been made to the reverse of the canvas. The gilt frame is in fine condition.
