An atmospheric scene showing two farm buildings of similar design, positioned within a substantial plot of land by the celebrated South African artist Adriaan Boshoff. Well presented in a gilt effect frame. Signed to the lower right and inscribed with the location to the reverse.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration caused by a fine layer of surface dirt. Minor marks to the frame.

Artist Biography
Adriaan Boshoff was a South African impressionist painter who was born in Pretoria. He was a self-taught artist of landscapes, seascapes, still life and figures painted in an impressionistic style. Often referred to as the ‘Renoir’ of South Africa, Boshoff said that he wanted to capture the fleeting moments of life before they are gone forever. His work has been exhibited internationally and is collected throughout the world.
