A very fine, handsomely framed gouache painting on silk, with watercolour details, depicting three birds on a floral branch. A spider descends on his thread, attracting the attention of the birds. Well-framed with a hand-painted gouache border, and gilt wooden frame, as shown. Unsigned.

In very good condition overall, for a silk painting of this age. There is some minor discolouration to the edges. The frame has only very minor marks.
