A charming watercolour study depicting farming folk working with several horses as they haul cartloads of hay from the harvest. The work is unsigned. Presented in a gilt-effect frame behind glass. An inscription on the reverse label reads 'Drawn by Sir I. D. Paul Bart. and presented to Warder Lindsey June 1857'. On paper.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the watercolour and light wear to the gilt effect frame. The overall condition of the artwork is very good.
