A fine 19th century watercolour study depicting various figures on a beach. The figure in the foreground rests easily on a little wooden boat with a dog at her feet, while distant figures chat in groups. Presented in a simple wood frame with gilt detail. Unsigned. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age. There is some discolouration and foxing. The gum arabic has deteriorated slightly and caused cracking to the paint in small areas.
