A very fine mid 20th Century portrait miniature of the young Austrian composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Indistinctly signed to the right-hand side. This well painted head and shoulders portrait is beautifully presented in a charming gilt effect frame, with a velvet cushion surround and original oval glazed dome. On a bone-like substrate.
Condition
In very good condition for the painting's age, with only two small marks to the front of the frame and a replacement needed for the dust seal to the reverse.
