Description

A beautiful 19th century half-length portrait of Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's husband and Consort. Here Albert is captured in soft subdued pastels. The portrait has been immaculately presented in a period auricular frame with scrolling acanthus leaves, bead and reel running pattern, and a wooden oval mount. On paper. Unsigned.

Condition

There is a small loss to the frame visible in the top right-hand corner. The overall condition of the artwork is very good.
