A charming late 19th century oil painting depicting two gentlemen fishing in an idyllic river location. The composition has been well presented in a contemporary gilt frame with internal slip. Indistinctly signed to the lower left. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

The overall condition of the oil is very good. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. Minor yellowing to the varnish layer.
