The condition is typical for a picture of this age, including some discolouration to the varnish layer and dirtying to the surface. Several canvas tears have been fully repaired to the reverse of the canvas. Inspection under UV light reveals areas of restoration and overpainting. The gilt-effect frame is in very good condition with little wear. The overall condition of the artwork is good.
