Framed Late 19th Century Oil - Bundle of Sticks

Description

Framed Original Late 19th Century Oil. Painted on Winsor & Newton's "rathbone" canvas board. Presented in an ornate gilt frame. Unsigned. On canvas board. Visible craquelure, particularly to the head area of the figure, as well as the lower right section. Losses to moulding on lower edges of frame, some of which have been glued back on, as seen in photo. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
