A male figure can be seen holding a sharp scythe, while the female balances a large basket of the cuttings on her head. The watercolour has been well presented in a gilt-effect frame and white card mount. Inscribed to the lower left and dated 1874. On watercolour paper.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age, including some discolouration to the watercolour and light wear to the gilt-effect frame.
