A study of a soldier from the 1st Horse or Skinner's Horse. A cavalry regiment of the Indian Army, which served in the British Indian Army before independence. The regiment was raised in 1803 as Skinner's Horse by James Skinner. Well presented in a washline mount with crest and wooden frame. Inscribed. On wat.
