Framed Early 20th Century Blue Morpho Wings Punch and Judy

Description

Hand-painted glass is layered over Blue Morpho butterfly wings to render a compelling study of children watching a Punch and Judy show. The artwork is unsigned, nut shoes a label of authenticity on its rear. On Blue Morpho wings laid to thin paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is some cracking to the surface in the top right-hand quadrant.
