A colourful early 19th-century needlework sampler detailing cases of the alphabet, flowers and a red dog at the centre. Created by Martha, aged 10. Presented in a rustic wooden frame behind glass.

Condition

Age-related wear and discolouration to the linen substrate. Some loose and missing threads. Light wear to the wooden frame. The overall condition of the sample is very good.
