Description

A colourful Georgian sampler detailing cases of the alphabet, figures and trees. Created by Alice Fisher, aged 9, in 1815. Presented in a rustic wooden frame behind glass.

Condition

Age-related discolouration and staining to the linen substrate. Some loose and missing threads. Light wear to the wooden frame. The overall condition of the sample is good.
