Hand-painted glass is layered over Blue Morpho butterfly wings to render a beautiful study of a Japanese woman in a scenic woodland setting. The artwork is unsigned, but bears the patent number for the design in the bottom right-hand corner and is inscribed with a label of authenticity on the reverse. Well presented in a thin wood frame. On Blue Morpho wings laid to thin paper.
