A delicate 19th century watercolour depicting a single traveller walking a tree line path with bindle over one shoulder. Well-presented in a gilt-effect frame with a crisp white mount. The watercolour was found in a sketchbook of Emma & Susan Jones'Tour of the Continent in the summer 1843. Inscribed Brückena to the reverse. Unsigned. On paper.
