This charming pastoral scene depicts three pointers working an area of open moorland. The composition captures the dogs in various poses, with two prominently following a scent trail in the foreground and a third observing from the far right. The painting is beautifully housed in an antique maplewood frame. Unsigned. On paper.
Condition
Even discoloration noted to the watercolour and wash line mount. The frame has minor surface wear and has been previously re-glued at the mitre joints. Overall, the artwork is in good condition for its age.
